The compatibility mode of Windows 8 is very easy to find. The purpose of using windows 8 compatibility mode is to run some programs not compatible with windows 8. Normally third party software and mostly games have compatibility issues with windows 8. Also with compatibility some games do not run on low screen resolution, you can also change screen resolution of a program or game by following the same steps given below.

By simply following the instructions given below, you can easily find the windows 8 compatibility mode.

1: The first thing that you need to do is ‘right click’ on the ‘exe file’ that you are looking forward to run under the other mode, afterwards simply opt for “Properties“.

2: The second step is to click “compatibility” that can be seen on the popup window tab.

3: After doing this, you must now active “Run this program in compatibility mode for“, and then choose one, and lastly click on the OK button.
